A Chicago native, David migrated to L.A. in 2003 to pursue a music career. Since then, he has achieved more in just a few short years than most artists achieve in a lifetime including; self-producing his own album, winning multiple songwriting awards, placing music on network television shows (Cold Case, High School Reunion, etc.) and being named one of Music Connection Magazine’s “Hottest Unsigned Artists” two years in a row! David’s work in Nashville producing and writing songs for BMG Publishing helped hone his craft for writing tasteful melodies and heart gripping hooks. In addition, David recently won BEST POP ARTIST at the Hollywood Music Awards in 2008, won "Best Of Fest" at the Temecula Int'l Film & Music Festival and played in front of 1000 filmmakers, celebrities, press and shared the gala stage with Motown legend, Smokey Robinson.
“Beautiful Mess” is David’s 2nd record that adds to his list of accolades! Co-Produced with Steven Miller (Dave Matthews Band, Brandi Carlisle, Jack Johnson etc.), “Beautiful Mess” boasts radio favorites such as “LA”, I Can Still Love You”, “Ravenous”, and of course, the title track. Let’s not forget the incredible guest artists on the record; Tom T-Bone Wolk, Steve Ferrone, John Pierce, Jeff Young, Tim Pierce and Dorian Crozier – the best of the best!
On the Producer side of things, David has worked with a variety of artists and songwriters here in Los Angeles, as well as Nashville, and Chicago. Among the artists he's produced and written with are Holly Brook, Various songwriters for BMG Music Publishing in Nashville, Matt Cusson, Stone Daisy, The Gilded Lillies, and many more.
