David Lee Murphy is one of Country Music's most revered artists. He scored Top 5 hits with such classic songs as "Dust On The Bottle," "Party Crowd," "Loco" and "The Road You Leave Behind." As a song writer Murphy has written hits for Kenny Chesney ("Living In Fast Forward"), Blake Shelton ("The More I Drink"), Eli Young Band ("Always The Love Songs"), Jason Aldean ("Big Green Tractor"), Gary Allan ("A Feelin' Like That"), Aaron Tippin ("People Like Us"), Trick Pony ("On A Mission"), Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, Montgomery/Gentry, Hank Williams, Jr., Chris LeDoux and others. The title track to his Tryin' To Get There album was co-written with Waylon Jennings.



David Lee continues to concentrate on songwriting as there seems to be no home for him as an artist on a Nashville label. He co-wrote the latest Eli Young Band single "Always The Love Songs" and the Jason Aldean single "Big Green Tractor".
