I fell in love with music and drumming when I was thirteen. It wasn't that I just wanted to play drums, I had to. Some of my various drum instructors claimed that I was obsessed with practicing. I prefer the word driven. I love feeling drums, looking at drums, the aroma of the shell when you change a head, the wood chips all over the drum riser, the thunder of the kick drum through the monitors, the sweet crack of a great snare drum, that magical energy exchange with the audience.
