Translator's Notes:
-parquetry is a kind of wooden mosaic floorboards.
-hanamichi (the 'platform' in the first line) is a special part of a kabuki stage - a long ramp/platform that extends from the stage down the middle of the audience. Naturally this doesn't have an exact English translation, so I went with an approximation that could easily be understood.
-camellia flowers are the red flowers that appear in the video a bunch of times if you were wondering.
-'beni' in the line about the cheek means 'red/crimson' but also means 'lipstick' but historically I doubt there was much readily available in the setting of the video, so I thought 'rouge' would be better as a more commonly used product at the time.
