From gracing the pages of major fashion magazines to producing two full length albums of his own, Dave Allen catapulted onto the music scene officially in 2005 releasing his first album Never Look Back, a hip-hip and pop joint venture that exposed an array of lyrical talent and growth of song writing ability that caught many listener's ears as new fresh product. Two years later was the release of Broadway Nights, a much more mature approach with a slight rock edge that held the same high standard of lyrically passionate driven songs often compared to an Eminem mixed with Mike Shinodah of Linkin Park. When asked about being his own producer on his albums, Dave had this to say…

"It wasn't easy for me to produce my own records. I got to a point where I needed music for the lyrics I was writing. I taught myself piano. From the piano I taught myself guitar…from guitar I then went on to teach myself drums. Over the years my musical influences ranged from 50 Cent to My Chemical Romance and everything in between…I realized I could produce any track I wanted…that's when I knew music was my strongest talent."

In between all the music production and song writing Dave was fine-tuning, he somehow managed the time to answer a call from NYC to do some modeling in the summer of 2006. It was off and on for Dave as he would frequently make the 2 hour trip to NYC from his home in South Jersey to go on castings and auditions in hopes of gaining more exposure.

"Modeling was a great opportunity for me to gain exposure and really add more dimensions to me as a musician and entertainer…I think I have everything it takes to be great, but nothing in life is handed out…you have to work hard to get it."

Dave recently came back to the United States after several months modeling overseas. He has been working on songs in between the modeling jobs and assures us he hasn't taken any time off from perfecting his craft and keeping focused.
"I'm in the studio everyday" Dave say's when asked about new music coming soon. He also says there will be something for everyone.

"People always say there is something for everyone with the music they put out. But, I can make a hard hip-hop track and then turn around and make a pop track for the club…I'm going to literally put out something for everyone…being able to cross genres, not compromise the quality of the music, and have an extremely marketable image is something I feel very lucky to be able to do"
