As unique and potent as it sounds, DASECA Productions, the future pioneers of Jamaican producers have arrived. Three friends, David Anthony Harrisingh, Craig Serani Marsh, and Craig Andrew Harrisingh came together and started a production group called DASECA Productions in 2001. DA (David Anthony) SE (Serani) CA (Craig Andrew) was originated through the initials of the first and middle names of each member. With a similar quest in mind, DASECA wanted to produce everyone, from the best in the industry to the next upcoming artistes in the business.

With every business, the return of investment really begins in the third or fourth year of operation. Early on, DASECA branched out and started playing on other producers’ tracks, while learning the trade at the same time. They played phrases on different riddims such as: Mad Guitar, Good To Go (over dub), Mad Ants (over dub) produced by Don Corleone; Rebirth (over dub) and Steps produced by Renaissance. DASECA solely created Chaka Chaka and Clear which was produced by Fire Links, as well as making the riddim for Elephant Man's popular hit "Willie Bounce,” which was number one on the Jamaican charts for several weeks. DASECA co-produced the first two singles on Sean Paul’s platinum selling album “Trinity,” including "We Be Burning," which smashed a Jamaican record of 107,000 copies sold in the first week. DASECA also made the Smash riddim which featured the number one song in Jamaica, U.S., and England, “Dutty Wine” by Tony Matterhorn.

DASECA produced and released their first riddim, "Safe Sex", in 2004, which did well overseas in the European market. Their second production was the successful Anger Management riddim which was released November the same year (2004). Mavado, with the hit single “Real McKoy,” was in constant rotation on the Jamaican, U.S, and overseas airwaves. With the success of Anger Management and advice from Bounty Killa, DASECA was urged to produce Angrier Management, the sequel, which has kept Anger Management in rotation at the latest dances, radio, and sound clashes yard and abroad. Bounty Killa, Mavado, and Busy Signal began working closely with DASECA, building a close knit family with the producers.

DASECA has managed to breakout artists such as Mavado, Alaine, and now Bugle in the Dancehall/Reggae industry by producing a number of hits for the artistes. Alaine and Mavado have been able to work with other producers and well-known artistes in the industry as a result of the buzz created by Daseca.

DASECA has been blessed with the ability to discover talent which has brought to the forefront the artist known as, Bugle. Bugle managed to hit the scene with a massive single called "What We Gonna Do"(Exercise) and Journeys, produced by the production group. The 2008 smash "Doh" featuring Serani, was an anthem in Jamaica and overseas. Bugle will definitely be a force to reckon with in the future.

Dancehall music has evolved and the future pioneers of the business have set out with an aim to produce quality music for all markets; Jamaicans, as well as the overseas market. DASECA is one of the busiest & most credible production groups in Music.
