Daniel Salomon

Born and raised in Haifa, Israel.

playing classical piano sience he was 6 years old. in the age of 12 started to write his own music. at the age of 20 did a 4 years of studies with Prof. Issic Sadai mastered in compositions and orchestral arraignments. at the age of 25 started his professional carrer with the musician Aviv Geffen (Blackfield)

as a piano player, orchestral arranger on Aviv's albums and later on with the international band - Blackfield (Aviv Geffen - Steven Willson). in 2002 released his fisrt solo album (Daniel Salomon) with many radio hits ("better"- hear at the audio section) and granted him for "composer of the year" by the Israely composers society.in 2005 released his second solo album (so many ways) again with a major radio hits ("love", "so many ways") which was granted to a gold record.

wrote music for a lot of theatre plays incloding for the Israely National Theatre and to The Stage theatre (London). wrote the score and songs for the film "The Secrets" a french-israely coproduction about to be released this summer (from director Avi Nesher).

Salomon's third solo album - "Haifa 87" was released on August 2007 and immediately generated hit single, "Could It Be". Furthermore, Salomon has joined the production of a Leonard Cohen tribute as a musical director. The concert was first played at the prestigious "Israel's Festival" in Jerusalem.



Today Daniel is scoring two Israeli new TV series, producing few albums

For different artists, and working on new materials for his next 4th album.
