Where is Hip Hop? You could find it in the hood surrounded by some hoes, wearing a long iced out chain and driving in a SUV on 24s. Its up in the club getting drunk with niggas grilling eachother at the bar waiting to meet up in the parking lot to get its fight on. It's on MTV making money for people that thought it was the worst form of music ever. I even seen it on VH1 in a house full of ignorant females making a fool of itself. I'm telling you its everywhere. It was on the radio all day repeating itself word for word. It was hanging out with country and pop working out a shitty business deal. You can always find Hip Hop in one of the major record companies trying to fit in. I went on vacation to Disney World, there was Hip Hop getting the kids to fall in love wit it while they were too young to make up their own minds. I put on Law & Order and who was starring in it Hip Hop.

Damn! I can remember when you can never find Hip Hop. It was hanging out in the ghetto when people were too affraid to relate to anyone living there. It was in the school yards teaching kids about their past and present. It was in small clubs and local community halls getting people together to have a good time. Hip Hop took the trains and thru its creativeity made life more vivid. It would block the street and expess its emotions with dance. And it was involved in movements protesting for eqality. Although Hip Hop's omnipressence may seem like a strong-point, its lack of a conscience pressence is its weakness.
