Influenced by reggae greats Ken Boothe, Alton Ellis and Soul artist such as Teddy Pendergrass and Marvin Gaye. Dakeye's soulful sultry voice captivates his audience to take a more positive outlook on love, life and social changes. Before becoming a recording artist in the 1990's Dakeye played the local Los Angeles music scene for 14 years and is now embarking on his career as a solo artist.
