Daisy d’Alba

Daisy d'Alba a 24 ans, elle est n�e � Paris le 9 avril 1986 au beau milieu d'une famille d'artistes: Maman chanteuse � succ�s, papa com�dien et musicien.
Depuis son enfance elle aime �crire, danser et chanter. A 4 ans elle donne des spectacles dans le salon familial en dansant sur Michael Jackson. A 11, elle devient une grande fan des Spice Girls et forme son premier groupe nomm� les "Delys Girls" o� elles imitent trait pour trait le groupe anglais. Le groupe ira m�me jusqu'� enregistrer 2 titres originaux.
Petite, Daisy veut devenir �crivain, puis journaliste et c'est vers 15 ans qu'elle tombe dans le rock. Plut�t punk rock pour d�buter, elle va ensuite s'int�resser � la culture gothique.
A 17 ans Daisy arr�te le lyc�e pour entrer dans une �cole de photographie pendant 2 ans. Elle r�ve alors de devenir photographe de tennis (sa deuxi�me passion). Travaillant en alternance dans un laboratoire de photo, elle entasse secr�tement des textes personnels dans un cahier mais n'en n'oublie pas la musique, elle est choriste dans un groupe de rock qu'elle monte avec ses amis.
Au m�me moment la d�couverte du folk de Neil Young va �tre pour elle une r�v�lation.
C'est vers 18 ans qu'elle se d�cide enfin � faire lire ses textes. Bonne id�e ! Son p�re, compositeur, Mario d'Alba est inspir�.
En juin 2005 elle enregistre ses 8 premi�res maquettes, guitare-voix. Gr�ce � son site internet o� l'on peut t�l�charger sa musique gratuitement Daisy re�oit imm�diatement beaucoup de retours positifs.
Elle envoie alors des courriers aux m�dias se pr�sentant. Le site officiel de la radio "Le Mouv'" diffuse son message dans la section "Ouvre ta bouche" ce qui lui apporte des dizaines d'e-mails par jour venus de toute la France! La radio "Ouifm" s'int�resse �galement � son cas: Le pr�sentateur Sarazin parle d'elle � l'antenne et invite les auditeurs � �couter sa musique. Le lendemain du passage, Sarazin re�oit plusieurs e-mails le remerciant d'avoir fait d�couvrir cette jeune artiste Fran�aise aux auditeurs et �tonn� qu'elle plaise autant, il parle d'elle une seconde fois et raconte l'anecdote pendant son �mission. Elle arrive �galement en finale du concours des artistes auto-produits organis� par la radio ind�pendante "Patchanka Radio" gr�ce aux votes des auditeurs. On parle d�j� d'elle sur plusieurs forum de musique, et sur plusieurs sites. En juin 2006 c'est le web magazine "Le Grand Bazart" qui lui consacre un article.
En 2007 Daisy fait sa premi�re t�l� sur la chaine TNT La Locale dans une �mission en direct appel� �Talents scoot�.
En F�vrier 2008 Daisy fait sa premi�re grande salle Parisienne au Th��tre du Petit Gymnase pour deux repr�sentations exceptionnelles avec son groupe.
En avril 2008, elle fait sa plus grosse �mission de t�l� sur France 2: Vivement Dimanche, pr�sent� par Michel Drucker et regard� par plus de 4Millions de t�l�spectateurs. Ce qui lui apportera une explosion sur sa page myspace (avec plus de 159000 visites � ce jour) et dans sa boite mails.
Elle fait �galement partie d'un groupe folk rock nomm� �Moon Pix And Trees� o� elle chante en anglais et avec lequel elle a particip� au ��Woodburn Festival�� en Ao�t 2008.
Actuellement Daisy travaille dans un th��tre parisien pour gagner sa vie mais elle ne se voit rien faire d'autre que chanteuse, c'est pourquoi elle poss�de une tr�s grande ambition. Mais m�me avec une grande motivation, elle sait que la route est encore longue

Daisy D'ALBA 24 years old was born in Paris on April 9th 1986 in an artists family.As a child she loved writing dancing and singing.At 4 years old she performed in a show, dancing on Michael Jackson's songs in her parents living-room! At 11 years old she became one of the SPICE GIRLS biggest fan and created her own group called "THE DELYS GIRLS" in which she and her friends performed just like the originals.THE DELYS GIRLS even recorded 2 songs on a CD.
Little Daisy wished to become a writer then a journalist.Later on around 15 years old she discovered "Punk Rock" to begin with and then got interested in Metal Rock and the Gothic culture which lead her to learn to play the guitar.Results were not very conclusive.She still preferred singing.
At 17 years old she decided to quit school as her grades were really bad to join a photograph school for 2 years in order to become a Tennis sport photographer (her second passion).In the meantime she also discovered Neil Young's folk songs which were a real revelation to her.Working part time in a photo shop she secretly started writing her own songs without forgetting music and also performed as a Choir member in a group created with some of their friends. At 18 years old she finally decided to expose her texts to her friends and family.Good idea! Her father Mario D'ALBA a song-writer loved them and got inspired. In 2005 she recorded her first 8 songs (guitar-voice).Thanks to her web-site where you could listen to them Daisy got a lot of positive encouragement allowing her to introduce herself to the media. The official "Radio Le Mouv" web-site did broadcast her songs in a section called "ouvre ta bouche" which resulted in many more enthusiastic E-mail from all over France! "OUI FM Radio" also got interested in Daisy's work and encouraged the audience to listen to her songs which did result in many more positive comments the morning after for discovering this new young French artist. Daisy did win the final of a self-production" song contest organized by "Patchanka" radio thanks to the audience votes. Several music forums and web-sites talked about her songs and in 2006 the "Grand Bazar" magazine even wrote a whole article about her on his web-site. Daisy charmed a wide range of people from different culture and countries thanks to the well known "MySpace" web-site where she can be listened to. At this day 35000 people heard her songs and 1820 left comments on the site.
On July 2006 Daisy went back to the studio to record new songs as well as old ones with new versions (adding bass,drums and percussions)
Daisy does not picture herself doing anything else than singing, in which she has faith and despite her ambition and motivation she's aware that the road ahead will be long.
