Bio:

Reggae musician, Daddigon was born as Gabra M. Lambert, in Kingston Jamaica, the fifth of seven children. As far back as he could remember music has always been apart of Daddigons life. His teen years were immersed in songwriting and producing in his community.

Daddigon formed the group Dutty Cup with his childhood friends Sean Paul, DJ Chicken, and Froggy where they began to establish themselves in their native Kingston 6, by djing, and performing dancehall music as it is called in Jamaica, The group performed in many clubs on the Island from 1994 to 1996. It was evident at that time that Daddigon was ordained for greatness as an international musician. His mission after parting with Dutty Cup in 1997 was to elevate conscious reggae music while remaining popular and appealing to the international market. It was at this point that Daddigon joined the Marley family and The Ghetto Youth Crew. In 1998, Daddigon began performing with The Ghetto Youth Crew during performances throughout the United States he was able to bring his music to the people while opening for Junior Gong aka Damian Marley.

Daddigons music evokes the strength and determination of a people, the poor youth of Jamaica and the rest of the developing world in spite of the enormous obstacles they face. His music often tinged with emotions and passion simultaneously expresses the raw talent and ability that is the hope for this generation. Daddigons has traveled and performed all across the world with the Ghetto Youth Crew where his performances are electrifying and he has whole audiences on their feet during his time on stage. He credits his stage performance and musical abilities to notable inspirations from Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and Dennis Brown who have all helped to take reggae music from the underground to a professional and international level.

In 2001, Daddigon appeared on Damian Marleys Halfway Tree album where he performed the track Give Them Some Way with Damian Junior Gong Marley; he is also featured on the Chant Down Babylon Album. Daddigon has recorded Kaya featuring Marley Brothers & Sli, Sun Is Shining featuring Marley Brothers and Please Be True with Yami Bolo. In 2003, Daddigons first solo track Jah Jah Word was released by John Shop Records on their Diamond Compilation album. His second solo track Respect Life is due out sometime this year also on John Shop Records.
