C.O.D.E

C.O.D.E, a band from Athens/Greece introduced a new sound in the local music scene when they released their



first album "Culture Of Digital Elegance". The uniquely produced "rocktronica" sound of this CD album got



surprisingly good feedback from abroad and especially overseas. Local awareness about this album practically



never came in a big scale but the band had some success with the remix of No Bliss made by a friend named



Geedel. The band got some good mainstream airplay about a year after the debut release(!) and even now

tracks like No Bliss are sporadically featured in mainstream TV programs. Additionally the band had some

very good results in a small radio campaign they did for the USA. (About 85 of 110 radio station that



received the disk had C.O.D.Es music in their rotation, some even for months!).



Some interesting things are on the way.

What we can tell for now is that the band will follow the "Direct To Fan" (DTF) model for their new release

and therefore no record label is in their plans. This will give them total control in their music and the



ability of making some more unique stuff than only releasing a compact disk.
