Cue To Eclipse

Cue To Eclipse are a Progressive Post-Hardcore / Metal band from the South of England. Bournemouth may not be known for it’s thriving music scene, but here is a band to prove that misconception wrong, having already been compared to the greats such as Deftones, Isis & Thrice! All about the songs & the intense live show, Cue To Eclipse put everything of themselves into the music & are about to make their presence known!



Already making a name for themselves as a must see live band, they have gained support slots with bands such as InMe, Brigade, Fei Comodo, The Blackout, Bury Tomorrow, Young Guns, Deaf Havana & many more. They released their first EP, Chapter II, at the end of 2007, but unfortunately lost vocalist Dan to the real world. Not ones to give up on something they feel so passionate about, they began working on new material with a brand new frontman in the form of Tom, with a slightly new direction. Expect sweeping crescendos, brutal moments, beautiful moments, even ambitious string sections! Unfortunately the band were unhappy with the quality of the EP they recently recorded, so being the perfectionists they are, chose not to release it. But they are working on a home recorded set of demo tracks to get some new music out there & already it is sounding closer to their expectations. Cue To Eclipse have gone all out with this new sound & will be taking over a stage near you soon. There will be sweat, & yes, there will be blood!

What I found really interesting about this band, was the impossibility to label them. Yes, they were heavy. But some of those songs just made me want to dance! They showed off their full range of songwriting tonight, ranging from brutal, to bouncy, to the complete chillout at the end. The voice from the man in front was huge! Never missing a note, while still managing to jump around with his friends. Believe me, none of tonight's bands moved like these guys.”
