The Legend of CSR
Long ago in the cold wastelands of Canada, the seeds were sown to create what was to be the greatest dynasty of Terror the world has ever seen.
The year was 1997. Toronto Canada was gripped by the mellow forces of crap music.
Dedicated to fight to the death against this blight, THR (Toronto Hardcore Resistance) was formed…
Despite a few successful battles, the first attempt to rebel against this scourge was fought back, and in late 2000, THR was pronounced dead.
The remains were purchased by Soviet interests and taken to Russia to be melted down and salvaged.
These were dark days. But there was shed a thin ray of light of what was to come.
From the fall of the glorious empire, a new titan was to be born from the ashes….
Cold and isolated, Canada had never known such music as what it was about to hear.
The old world was about to die. A new empire, better, stronger, faster than the old was about to be born.
From the west came Interrupt Vector, the pioneer of production, who was a master of programming and Speedcore creation.
From the South came DJ Plague, Terrorizing the dance floors and clearing the weak from every club in Toronto, leaving only the strong to survive.
From the East came Terrorist Kriss, and the DIY crew, who united the crowd to create the greatest Speedcore parties the country had ever seen.
When these three united in a sonic blast of power, they formed the Canadian Speedcore Resistance. Dedicated to one solid agenda.
Speedcore Worldwide……
CSR dedicated itself this time to bring its Terror sound to the people of the world.
To wake up the population, and free them from their former musical oppression.
To create a new world.
To fight rot of mediocrity and the status quo.
This new world would be
Better
Stronger
Faster.
Once again their world was under attack.
This time the death would be a slow one.
CSR vowed not to rot and decay like so many before them in this unfeeling and empty land.
A new plan had to be formed. This country was not to last long.
As SARS began to annihilate the population, the outbreak was blamed upon DJ Plague.
CSR looked across the vast water to seek a new beginning once again.
Onward and foreward, CSR forged ahead to claim a new homeland
Like a plague spreading across the globe, more and more people joined the movement.
The ranks of CSR swelled, England, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, more and more CSR grew larger and larger with its members meeting on the internet home base of Speedcore.ca
finally a new home for CSR was found.
The island of Terrorland….
Others were to join, as their own homelands fell.
Those who could make it, escaped to make their way to the promised land of Terror.
The new empire of Terrorland was born!
