DESCRIPTION:
CK5 started out as project for Odd Ahlgren (as Odd d'Cologne, also The Robots, Matching Numbers), Vejde Gustavsson (as One String King, also Mazarine Street, Revlon 9) and Mathias Carlsson (as Hep Cat Matt Cortaplumas or Matt The Man, also "Demons", Matching Numbers) while attending a media class. They built their own instruments and started to evolve their own brand of street corner voodoo blues. Eventually they started performing on a regular basis from 1995 on. During the years more people joined in and today the band consists of the original three plus Gustav Bent (as El Bendt, also Monster, Moneybrother, Barbwires), Jocke Ericson (as Baby Diamondback, also The Nomads, Matching Numbers) and Anders Paulsson (as Bloodfinger, also Atomic Swing, Matching Numbers, Rubbermen). Releases have been scarce but this is the debut single on the Boogaloosa label. It came out in 2000.
