- Biography -

Cream soda started off in early '04 as an idea between jeff, jake, oscar and jorge. Jake fell back and did not play Cream Sodas first show (at minisuperbadassawesomefest) future member Vince attended the show as a guest of oscar. Vince who had recently purchased a bass with no understanding of it talked with oscar and eventually joined the band. After much miscommunication and lack of direction several songs were made and jake deemed it necessary to play cowbell at shows. the old set list was Creamsoda/V-Necks/Ultimate Warrior/I Dont Like Cops/Spook(fuck on the beach)

the next week creamsoda played its 2nd show and vinces first show. Arm played first (then a vegan sxe political power violence band) and creamsoda followed which was quickly followed by police sirens. Thus began Cream Sodas fame for ending shows. Eventuall vince wrote "captian planet thrash attack" which was an idea oscar had.

another song created was supposed to be "del taco hardcore" but never saw the day with lyrics no more then 20 people have heard this fabled song and it remains one of the favorites.



This period lasted from MAY to NOVEMBER consisting of rowdy drunken violent shows temporary members (eddie chanto, "chong," and davey among others)

and ruining street punk shows.

Cream Soda recorded twice, first at jorges house into a tape recorder, and against at jeffs garage recorded onto jorges pc.

Tension mounted due to alcoholic problems (creamsoda is also noted for having extremely high tension amongst the band) and jeff threatened to quit with jake behind him. Eventually Cream Soda hit their big break at Militant Records Thrash Fest. playing with Godstomper and Magrudergrind. This show was taped by three different people and footage is sorely needed. Jeff and jake left after this show replaced by Alvin a friend of ours and guitarist. one month later a new hit was produced "Westley Snipes" after the great actor. shows came less and less and practice fated even worse. Greedy Filth a friend band recorded a live set of creamsoda on a tape recorder. the tracks were saved to the computer and probably are lost forever. As for the tape, vince and oscar could not recollect if Vince threw the tape out of a moving car or not, vince thinks he did. After a large 1 year lull creamsoda recorded at Ample Studios (the tracks here) two master copies were made one going to Sergio Almafitano of AAS/MAXWARD/Liberate/ACxDC and one going to Alvin the guitarist. the cd was supposed to be sent to Andres Garcia of militant records along with the art already done and was to be pressed as a s/t 7" Alvin eventually lost the cd-r not before making 15 demos "the fastcore sessions" and No word is apparent on Sergios copy (NOTE: the 7" can STILL be pressed but only on the term that this master copy is found) Cream Soda then made 20 shirts (5 in each S,M,L,XL)after the killer fast core design obviously these shirts are o.o.p. after not much being done and 4 complete songs being finished but never heard by more than 4 people, word slipped out that oscar is moving to texas, We played our last show in June/July 2006 as not only a good bye to creamsoda but a good bye to oscar vargas vocalist and hero. which brings us to now, and us being dead.
