Born and raised in Providence, RI, Crisis is an emcees emcee-- hip-hop in its truest form The 22-year-old lyricist stormed onto the local hip-hop scene at the tender age of 13. Armed with an arsenal of punch lines and ingenious wordplay, young Crisis targeted everything from open mic venues/battles, to street corner cyphas. Over the years, Crisis established a strong buzz through the underground circuits and has worked with some of New Englands finest in hip-hop including, Apathy, Alias, Swann Notty, Chachi, 8th Wundah, Vertygo, Jinsu, Evil, Izma, Frankie Riptide. Early in 2005, Crisis managed to make it to the top 10 along with Swann Notty in Sonys nationwide search for the next, Hip Hop Supa Star, contest and opened for Xzibit at The Mansion in Miami. Crisis recently finished his latest CD, Identity Crisis, which was released on November 5 by his new Indie Label, Paper Chasers, Inc. (PCI).PCI plans to open its doors all over the industry.
