CRAWLER

Crawler was born from an idea of Claudio Cesari (voice), Giovanni Martiniello (bass guitar) and Lucio Cassani (guitar) that, joined in the same passion for hard rock and classic metal, decide to start this musical project. This idea carries out with the entrance of guitar player, Renato Fecit and the drummer, Nicola Martiniello.
The Band begins to be appearing in live events and performs a repertory of classic covers of the most famous heavy metal bands, like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Monowar , and many others.
After a few concerts the Band begins to think the writing of own songs. In 2004 the guitar player Lucio Cassani left the band. So, in this time, Rudy Gonella Diaza has docked into the Band.
In the spring of 2005 Crawlers decide to make concrete their own work with the record of the demo "Undeads", containing first two songs. The Band printed a few copies of this work but published it on their MySpace profile. On MySpace "Undeads" obtained an unexpected success: after a year and a half from its opening, the MySpace page of Crawler was visited by more than 74000 users and has more than 22000 friends.
In the summer of 2007 Rudy decided to leave the Crawler and the Band had to find a new guitarist. At the same time Crawler starts recording the new EP "Burst", but the recording session was interrupted until the Band was not comlete.
In September 2007 the band finally finds its guitarist, Alessandro Brusaferri with which resumes the concerts. At April 2008 is out "Burst" that is printed in a good number of copies.
A year later Alessandro Brusaferri leaves the Band and the Band was looking again for a guitar player. In the same month Crawler find Filippo Severgnini, young but very skilled guitarrist who brought into the Band new and interesting ideas for the composition. Crawler begin his concerts with Filippo at Rolling Stone in Milan (historic Italian club) as support for Haggard (September 4, 2008).
In these times Crawler began to write the new material for their debut album and played it in their live shows with great success of audience. At May 2009 Crawler turned their first music video for the song “Masters of the Night” directed by Christian Arioli (Italian horror director) and put it on their MySpace profile and on YouTube. The actress of this music video was Maya Vakoulenko (Russian actress and model) who work also for Italian tv and cinema.
At August 27, the Band will play at Festabikers in Cologno al Serio (great bikers meeting) as support for Pino Scotto (famous Italian showman and singer of Vanadium in the ‘80). In the same year Crawler played at “Halloween Metal Meeting” (October 31 2009) in Maasmechelen ( Limburg – Belgium ).
In 2010 the band was noticed and contacted by the famous American producer Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Europe, Ratt, Twisted Sister, etc.) and together they produced a single "Knights of the word." In same time Crawler continued to play at italian clubs and in some festivals.
So the Band turned back to Belgium to participate as headliner to the Metal for Angels Festival in Herne.
Just while they are preparing the arrangements for the release of the single produced by Beau Hill, the band come in contact with the Italian label SG Records and agrees to the release of their full length debut which will take the title from the song produced in collaboration with the famous American producer.
