It’s about the music and the melodies, your ears and not your eyes, your heart and not your mind.

Cotton Sidewalk (Adam, Marty and Heather) is at core a 3 piece bursting with life and energy – something that has remained from it’s teenage initiation 10 years ago. But far from these pimply beginnings is the depth of Cotton’s lyrics and harmony, that provide the substance to the band’s music.



This fervent sound is encompassed in both their live shows and in their latest album “Evil Versus People” (to be released in December 2009). The band’s third release, this album has put into action all the sounds, colours and instruments that the band had always imagined, and effectively opens the Cotton Sidewalk heart to the world.



With a little help from their friends (Renee and Sullo), the splendour of their song’s instrumentation and sentiment, is translated live from your ears to your toes. Since making the move to Melbourne in 2008, Cotton has been translating this sentiment to an ever-growing fan base through the city’s expansive music circuit.



Now with their sights set on the broader path, the road ahead sees the release of ‘Evil Versus People’ marked by an inaugural show in their old ‘hometown’ Newcastle, before heading to the bright lights of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to spread the word.
