After over 10 years in the Texas music scene, sharing the stage with multiple musicians, 2 EPs, 3 Full length albums (CORD), a record deal and nationwide touring Cord Carpenter has returned to his roots in country music and southern rock n' roll.
In August 2011, the first full length album by Cord Carpenter will be released, Nights on the Old No. 9. This album will give vaguely familiar sounds to his fans, so vague that many are in for a surprise. It will take us to night's that tell stories about shared time with friends and family. The TRUE reasons in life that inspired Cord Carpenter to create his music. Nights on the Old No. 9 will bring back feelings of love and hate, times of pain and joy and the ideas of what's wrong and right to all who listen.
