Conscious Sound was founded in 1999 by some members of the magazine “Reggae Revolution” and its members are Stadium Bwoy, Fyahstation and Ras Ale. The sound has the aim to spread the roots and culture of reggae music and for the great energy that emanates in their shows is called "The Sound of Fyah".
Over the years Conscious Sound has been working to unite and create a spirit of confrontation among many national and international sounds systems, organizing from 2002 to 2006 inside Rototom Sunsplash festival, two different musical areas the "Free Yard” and the “Roots Yard".
In their own region they have been the promoters of a musical project called "Campania Sound System Powa", dedicated to the union of all the sounds system, dj's and live bands of Campania region and in the last winter they have realized “Catch The Fire”, another important festival, in collaboration with Southboyz Sound, hosting many important artists of Italian reggae scene as Boomdabash, Macro Marco, Yaga Yaga, Moiz (Kalibandulu), Nico Royale, Balooba Sound, Almighty Squad ecc ecc.
Many collaboration and dancehall over the years longside many international and national sounds system as Stone Love, One Love, Villada, Vito War,Supersonic, Irie Ites, Irie Crew, Channel One, Monza inna De Yard, Sicily Rebellious, Dancehall Soldiers and more & more.
Conscious Sound has been present also abroad, with a couple of performances in Spain in Barcelona with Warrior Viybz & Luv Messanger and in London for a rootical show longside Dennis Alcapone and Winston Francis.
With “Campania Sound Powa” project opened the Rototom Sunsplash 2009 before the veteran sound Channel One and has been present at Rototom 2010 in the Zion Town Yard.
They performed with many international singers also as Jah Mason, Lutan Fyah, Tok, Million Stylez, Alborosie, Aaron Silk, Black Dillinger and italian artists as Brusco, Franziska, Boomdabash, Mama Marjas, Ras Tewelde, Gioman, Krikka Reggae, Jaka, Fido Guido, Mellow Mood, Jamafrica & more

Conscious Sound nasce a Napoli da alcuni componenti della crew della fanzine ”Reggae Revolution” nel 1999 ed è composto da Stadium Bwoy, Fyahstation e Ras Ale.
Il sound ha l’intento di diffondere radici e cultura della musica reggae e per la grande energia che sprigiona nelle sue danz è chiamato“ The Sound of Fyah” .
Durante il corso degli anni Conscious Sound ha lavorato per unire e creare un clima di confronto e collaborazione tra i moltissimi sound system nazionali ed internazionali, organizzando tra l’altro dal 2002 al 2006 all’interno del Rototom Sunsplash, due aree musicali autogestite la “Free Yard” e la “Roots Yard”.
Nella propria regione è stato promotore di “Campania Sound System Powa”, un progetto musicale dedicato all’incontro di tutti i sound system, dj’s e live band della regione Campania e di “Catch The Fire”, una manifestazione tenutasi la scorsa stagione con la collaborazione di Southboyz Sound, dove c’è stata la partecipazione di nomi importanti del panorama reggae italiano quali Boomdabash, Macro Marco, Yaga Yaga, Moiz (Kalibandulu), Nico Royale, Balooba Sound, Almighty Squad ecc ecc.
Nel corso degli anni moltissime le collaborazioni e le sessions con i più grandi sounds internazionali e italiani come Stone Love, One Love, Villada, Vito War,Supersonic, Irie Ites, Irie Crew, Channel One, Monza inna De Yard, Sicily Rebellious, Dancehall Soldiers e tanti altri.
Conscious Sound è stato presente anche in Spagna a Barcellona, con Warrior Vybz e Luv Messanger e a Londra dove ha introdotto lo show di Dennis Alcapone e Winston Francis.
