I can not believe it . I even can not find words . but I don't want to remain speachless after what happened last saturday, so I will try it:

Comecloser was a big, big part of our lifes. This was your time, definitely! Playing such a great show at the place where the Punk/Hardcore kid in me (vuki) grew up was totally overwhelming. Sometimes I felt more like a part of the audience than of the band. Everything worked out perfect in the end for us as a band: We had the best farewell shows we could ever imagine. Yes, we had two farewell shows: The last one in Wangen and the one in Bielsko-Biala [Poland] on our last tour. This is really what we will remember for the rest of our lifes. These were some of the saddest and also happiest days in our lifes.

So thank all the ones of you who took so much care of us: all of you who put out our records, set up shows for us, did our artwork- and design-jobs, drove us through germany and the half of europe, gave us a place to sleep and everything else in the last 8 years . and finally for loving what we did as the band we were: making no compromises in what we did and being the persons we were and still are. THIS IS SO MUCH MORE THAN TEMPORARY. It will never come back but this was OUR time. All what is left to say is that we want to THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES!!! You really make us more than happy for something that we build up as friends .

There is a new band worth to check out where two of us are in: Pessimistic Lines. Hagen is singing (i couldn't imagine that but he is doing a great job) and Bonzo is playing drums like a bastard. Their demo (recorded and mixed by Flo) will be out soon. And I am still shredding some Rock-Metal-Riffs in a band called Semana Santa.

Hope to see you somewhere again!

All the best

Vuki / COMECLOSER

This won't be a boring story about a band that formed in 2001. But hey, who cares about year dates in a band sheet? No one, at least not me. I'd rather show you, who COMECLOSER really are and what this band stands for.

Forget about your hearing habbit for the same music as ever, take a minute and think about the lyrics or even more important – about COMECLOSER. About a band that never avoids to shed blood, sweat and tears, that destroys stages and plays their asses off wherever they can. Of course, you heard all of that for a thousand times and nearly every band-sheet sounds like that, well . »Diversity Declines« (2003 EP). But fortunately COMECLOSER retained their ideals in a music-scene that just follows the next big hype. They remained true to themselves without givin’ a shit. Have you ever asked yourself »Is Life Worth Dying For?« (2005 CD)? They did . they did. And so they mix up music styles with wonderful names like Hardcore and Punkrock with melodic bling-bling. Even if it sounds like every band these days there is one difference: they've been doing it with heart ever since. If you care about year dates dear reader, yes, they've been doing it since 2001.

Lets sum it up: COMECLOSER aren't trying to act like rockstars, they aren't part of a hype, they don't have unique selling propositions or other funny marketing gimmicks. They are just 5 guys doing what they love to do with honesty and a lot of energy.
