Hailing from Los Angeles, The Coffin Draggers blend a unique sound of rockabilly, Goth, and deathrock, with a hint of industrial, to create a style that can be categorized as psychobilly, but due to the spooky content is often referred to as Gothabilly. Their music is lively and upbeat mixed with a dark humor that makes for a morbidly fun atmosphere! Their musical influences range from classical to death metal.

"The Coffin Draggers play the ultimate devil's music — psychobilly, but not the wacky kind; they burn with the sweet smell of psychosis. The North Hollywood three-piece transcend the genre's clichés with a rhythm section that veers from big-band explosiveness to Minutemen intricacy." – L.A. Weekly.

"The Coffin Draggers were intense. Their onstage presence was a huge adrenaline rush. Robert Frank hit the drums hard and fast, Jose Sleeping was amazing on guitar, and best of all was the tongue-wagging, trench coat-donning bassist Gator McMurder. His performance would make the McMurder family proud." – Daily Sundial CSUN

"The band is tight, the guitars are blissfully loud, the tempos are speedy, and the "horror" vibe is tongue-in-cheek enough not to seem pretentious and serious enough to pull off the songs' dark underpinnings. All in all, this is rock-solid, and I proudly proclaim myself among the ranks of their many admirers, not because I know 'em, but because they're really fuckin' good." –Jimmy Alvarado

"The band labels themselves death rockabilly and one listen of this CD and I can see why. It is definitely not your typical psychobilly album, which is a fantastic thing. A lot of the songs lean in a gothic-rockabilly direction." -Dan Zig, Dead Boy Productions
