You'd think life would've changed after our prime-time network debut on "The OC."

Well, it has -- a little. Mark had a car full of "OC" fans track him down at his house -- and they even proceeded to help him wash his car. Tim was asked to play the national anthem at a Cleveland Cavaliers game on a Spanish guitar (that was made in Japan). Ed is finding it a easier to score honorary shots of ripple in rec rooms all around town. John still has some of the sour bears he poached from the "OC" studio junk food buffet. And Frank is, for some strange reason, wearing mesh shirts around town -- regardless of the temperature outside.

THE BIG NEWS, THOUGH: We're working on the follow-up to our covers disc "COPYCAT KILLERS," which came out last year. When we started recording "COPYCATS," we had just finished recording and touring behind our "EASY LISTENING" disc. We were really happy with how "EASY LISTENING" came out and the response to it and still liked playing the songs live. The last thing we wanted, though, was to repeat ourselves . a band that sounds the same on two discs is a band that should've quit a record ago. So we decided to experiment with a bunch of covers and then apply it to our next album (everything from New Order to Rolling Stones, Pink, Troggs, Donna Summer, The Fall, Hawkwind, etc). Anyway, we were so happy with how it came out that we decided to put it out. "COPYCAT KILLERS" did put us in a different frame of mind with the disc we're working on now. It's so all over the map that we often get lost just trying to find the studio. We'll be putting up some of the tracks here as we work on them.

Anyway, thanks for being there with us. Whereever that is.
