When they formed, Clyde Funk Authority set out on a pure mission to make fresh dance music and have a laugh doing it.
Initially rehearsing round each others' flats, C.F.A. soon took to the studio and the stage and realised the full potential of their sound. The Clyde Funk quickly forged a style that no-one else has replicated. Electronica, reggae, rock, jazz, punk, pop, blues, hip-hop - you name it - are thrown into the mix to create their trademark, energetic beats. Their first demo was produced by their funk-mentor Col-B (ex-Monkeytribe) in Clydebank.
