The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem

The Clancy Brothers were a family of singing Irish expatriates who are still one of the most internationally renowned Irish folk bands. Tommy Makem was a celebrated folk musician, artist, poet and storyteller from County Armagh in the North of Ireland.



Together as 'The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem' they recorded more than 50 albums, starting with The Rising of the Moon (also known as Irish Songs of Rebellion) in 1956.
