Chukki Starr (real name Titto Williamson) is from Harlesden, London. He started out as a deejay – then under the name Chukki Brown – for his own Echo Tone Hi Fi soundsystem in the Stonebridge Community. His debut recording, “Goodas Gal”, was produced by Stonehead of the UK-based Volcano sound. After joining his family in Jamaica he voiced some specials in Jamaica, returning to the UK in 1993/1994, where he teamed up with Gussie P of Fashion Records. He released a series of hits including “Career Time”, “Evilous System”, Who Dem Fi Rate” and Almighty Father’. Back in Jamaica Chukki performed in Western Kingston on the sound system circuit. He recorded a couple of tunes for Bobby "Digital" Dixon and African Star and voiced many specials for various Jamaican sounds. By 1997 Chukki was considered one of UK’s top deejays, also due to the considerable success of his own Starrdom Products release, “Forever I Shall Praise”, and the combination hit with Aisha, “Hard Times”. In 1998 he released his debut album with Ariwa’s Mad Professor entitled, “Ghetto Youths Livity”. This Album was 1 album in the UK in 2000. After the release of Ghetto Youths Livity he then released "Forever Shall Praise" (Bakchich, 2001), "From Crime To Kodesh" (Jetstar, 2002), "True Guidance" (Ariwa, 2004) and "Can't Stop It" (Jetstar, 2005). In 2010, Greensleeves released "Most Wanted", a collection of some of Chukki's best loved hits. With so many people feeling Chukki's vibe there is no doubt that he is one of the worlds greatest reggae sensations to hit the scene.
