Christopher Styles Turner

The 24 year old rapper, song writer, and music visionary first picked up the mic at the tender age of 16. What overshadowed his ability to rock the mic, was his ability to capture the ears of a diverse audience. Christopher always used music as an therapeutic form of self expression. In his efforts to cure himself of life's everyday ills he would touch the hearts of others. This created the increased demand for his heart felt music.



At the age of 18 Christopher partnered with close friend and mentor Javis littles

to start Powerful Muzik LLC. Javis Littles (what up jay) was like a big brother to Christopher. Chris says "Jay was key to helping my develop my business savvy. I owe a large portion of the business beast I am today to him." After establishing Powerful Muzik

in 2002 Christopher and Javis started perusing a recording distribution deal. In 2003 Christopher and Javis came within a few short meetings of finalizing deals with roughly four major labels. Chris Jokes "money wasn't right. I was still trynna graduate college, music was secondary."



Following the release of 3 semi-successful mix tapes and 2 promotional packages Christopher attracted the attention of southern beat banger Sanchez. Sanchez vowed to help Christopher get the deserved recognition he shrived for. Christopher and Sanchez began working together in Fall of 2003. The relationship with Sanchez helped Christopher catch the ears of several record executives and music producers. Chris says "producers were excited to work with me. They was sending me tracks for free, and they still are."



With the help of several decorated southern producers Christopher released the street anticipated Before The Deal. Before The Deal is Christopher's most successful independent release to date. Before The Deal Sold an estimated 8 thousand copies. Before The Deal's title track Magic City Ft Lloyd got sprinkled radio play locally. Christopher was beginning to make a name for himself.



After celebrating the sales of Before The Deal Christopher began to focus on song writing. Christopher started off ghost writing for established hip hop artist. Which soon lead to writing R & B music as well. Christopher was fascinated with how lucrative song writing had become. It wasn't long before Christopher put his own musical plights on the back burner for a buck.



In December of 2006 Javis and Christopher came together again to focus on the emergence of Powerful Muzik. Javis got back in the office and Christopher got back in the studio. The rest is History
