Christ Dymensions

Birthed in 1993 as The Next Step, the group consisted of three members. The Next Step was a hard core dance group seeking to achieve what was seen as uncouth and worldly in the gospel arena. Led by Mr. Joseph Fraser, over the years, the group continued to press through the invisible membranes that tried to hold them back.



In 1995, the group expanded in size and its knowledge of the arts. The Next Step became Christ Dymensions. The group moved from being just a dance group to a Ministry filled with beautiful young people from different backgrounds, churches and walks of life. The group now consists of musicians, dancers, singers and songwriters. Christ Dymensions can be compared to a wheel, where each individual member is like a spoke, having their individual purpose, but working in unison to produce music, songs and dances that can uplift souls by demonstrating the goodness of God and provide comfort and encouragement.



After twelve years of Ministry and producing many singles, in August 2005, Christ Dymensions finally released its first album Living Proof. The thirteen (13) tracks on this album are based on the experiences that the members of the group have had. In this life everyone experiences things of a similar nature and Christ Dymensions has produced an opportunity for others to learn from them, they way in which God has been able to take them through experiences of all types.



The album consists of music from a number of genres. From soca to reggae to dance hall to hip hop to jazz. There is a song to Minister to every one of all ages and of all musical preferences.



The album is subtitled Worship, Warfare and Assurance. This describes the mood of the music contained therein. There are songs, which exalt God, and there are songs that speak to the enemy and let him know where to step off. There are also songs, which speak of Gods ability to comfort, guide and protect his Children.



Living Proof was launched for the first time in Tobago on August 31st 2005 at D Lime in Scarborough. The group then launched the album at the First Church of the Open Bible in San Fernando on September 17th 2005. Christ Dymensions also visited Crossroads Pentecostal in Princes Town and Dixon Memorial in San Fernando. Over the years, the group has ministered at many churches and concerts.



The versatile Christ Dymensions continues to use the talents of its individual members led by God through his visionary Mr. Joseph Fraser to touch the hearts of Gods children.

CARIBBEAN GOSPEL BAND

CARI-GO-BAN is an entity created to provide another opportunity for the vessels of Jesus Christ to utilise their giftings and talents for the furtherance of His Kingdom.



In unity there is strength and as Christians, we must come together, not be set apart from each other. We must work in one accord in order to spread the word of God effectively and share with others what God has been doing in our lives. CARIGOBAN will facilitate this goal.



CARIGOBAN is not a label, but an agent. CARIGOBAN should be seen as an avenue through which artistes can network, foster long lasting relationships and utilise their talents in unison to spread the word of God throughout the Caribbean and other regions of the world.



CARI-GO-BAN is therefore an organisation created to facilitate the unison of many Caribbean gospel bands under one banner with one purpose – to spread the gospel. No man is an island and we recognize that we can spread the gospel more effectively if we pool our resources and work together, rather than if we attempt to work as individual teams.

MISSION: To spread the gospel to all nations (regional and international) utilizing all talents and giftings given to us by God, to ensure that as many persons as possible obtain an opportunity to hear the gospel, obtain a chance to inherit eternal life and entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.



GOALS:

To see the fulfillment of God’s work in our lives and the lives of others

To prepare the next generation for the work ahead of them

To facilitate the growth and exposure of new artistes (passing on the baton)

Market the music/talents of those under the banner throughout the world



STRATEGY:

Foster networking relationships amongst all artistes

Teaching the younger artistes what we know about ministry

Assisting artistes/producers/songwriters with the development of their talents (singing/songwriting/musical arrangements/dancing etc)

Inform artistes of the mechanics of the gospel music industry



(COTT- registration of artiste and music for songs and rhythms, piracy, etc.)

As its regular plays on Rimmerama will have demonstrated to CR listeners, "Mash Down" is the best reggae/ragga track we've heard for many a long year. Impossible to adequately describe, suffice to say it's a frantic tempoed track with a wonderfully monotone voice chanting "Holy trinity/One day we will be free" before the relentless chorus "Mash it up, shake it up, break it up, spiritual breakdown."
