Been playing about 14 years, got first band together at uni in Camborne, arse end of Cornwall. 'Drift' fell apart after (and usually during) few gigs in the union. Also cut my musical teeth for me.

Now play guitar and sing at the same time. Write bits of songs, sometimes put some of them together to make a whole song.

Played countless winning venues in/around Manchester over the years, including my mate's back yard, Wembley and Madison Square Garden.

Went to Australia couple of years back to write, play and drink. Got sucked into the scene, hammered the open-mic's, ended up gigging loads and that. It was good. Came third in a comp, just like Silverchair once.

Run an open mic night every Wednesday at Blind Tiger in Bury with Johnny Cowhead out of Jupitarsands. They're mint too, check them out in my top mates. John's a right bulb though, just ignore him. And he's a rubbish uncle. Open mic's proper, come down and play us a tune, everybody's welcome.

Enjoy beards, tending to injured woodland animals, hats, winter, and polite conversation over mid-priced wine.
