I was born into music. My father owned the first jazz nightclub in Anchorage Alaska in the late fifties and early sixties, after fleeing the sizzling LA, California jazz scene.

From the day I could walk, talk, or remember a line, I have been on stage, in theater, music, radio, nightclubs . coast to coast, and beyond.

I was born in the Year of Rock n Roll, 1955. I have no major credentials to my name, after doing music professionally since 1970.

While playing in various bands, or as a "solo" act throughout his career, I have found myself on the same bill with acts like the Marshall Tucker Band, Edgar Winter, Firefall, Dave Mason, and more.

My band Alien Cowboy (1992 - 2000) was a fixture on the "classic southern rock" circuit in the Denver region, performing over a hundred nights a year. We did a twelve show five week tour of England in 2000. It was during that tour that I solidified my desire to re-approach my music and focus on a sound closer to my heart (and where my fingers and voice wanted to take me) - Americana country.

Today, my music reflects all the diverse elements of my lifelong appreciation for Americana music. an incorporation of country, folk, jazz, blues, rhythm & blues, southern rock, and bluegrass .from a palate of songs written by me and others more famous than I have ever been or will ever hope to be.

I also produce and host the most widely heard geocentric radio program in Colorado, The Colorado Sound, heard on KRFC, KDNK, KMPB, KWMV and KOTO in Colorado . more info at www.thecoloradosound.com . and blogs about Colorado music and radio at www.rockymountainmusicnetwork.wordpress.com
