CHILLI. wears clothes sponsored by:Zespół CHILLI. ubiera: Chilli comes from Opole, Poland. It was founded in 2003 by Robert Cichy (lead vocals, guitar), Marcin Snigurowicz (drums, additional vocals) and Grzegorz Ziola (bass) in order to demoralize the music market and to prove that what sounds good is not necessarily synonymous with Budka Suflera. These three guys from Opole make funkcore music, combining Frank Zappa with System of a Down and Edith Piaf with Béla Bartók. Their demo tape has already been heard by the whole Poland and a half of the Western Europe. At the beginning of 2003, they gave many concerts in the clubs of the Opole region. The band's achievements are quite impressive. Chilli was qualified to take part in Debiuty (Debuts) during the Krajowy Festiwal Piosenki Polskiej (National Polish Song Festival) in Opole in 2004, played as a support band at the concerts of TSA, Wilki, Perfect, and, last but not least, Lenny Kravitz. In the same year, they were invited to Kuba Wojewodzki's show and also performed at the Camermage Film Festival in Lodz. In 2005, Chilli qualified for the final of the Vena Festival. Right after that, the Vena Foundation offered Chilli the opportunity to record a professional album in Tonn Studio. In May, the musical material was ready and it's now waiting to be released. Guests on the album include Paulina Przybysz (Sistars), Ania Dabrowska, Dori Fi and Dj S-master. The band also cooperated with Michal Urbaniak. The performance at the Vena Festival in Lodz (second edition) as the main artist during the first day of the festival was the latest event.
Zespol CHilli założyli Robert Cichy (wokal, gitara), Marcin Śnigurowicz (perkusja, wokal), Grzegorz Zioła (bas) w 2003 roku w celu zdemoralizowania branży muzycznej oraz udowodnienia, ze to, co dobre, nie zawsze jest BUdką Suflera.ChŁopaki z Opola tworzą muzykę Funkcorową, łączą Franka Zappę z System of a Down oraz Edit Paw z Belle Bartokiem. Ich demówka okrążyła już cala Polskę i pół europy zachodniej. Na początku 2003 roku koncertowali po Opolszczyźnie, po okolicznych klubach. Zabrali się za eliminacje do debiutów 2004 i dostali się do finału Krajowego Festiwalu PIosenki POlskiej, zagrali support dla takich zespołów, jak: Tsa, Wilki, Perfect oraz dla Lenny'ego Kravitza na warszawskim Bemowie. W tym samym roku pojawili sie w programie Kuby Wojewódzkiego oraz zagrali na Festiwalu Filmowym CamerImage w Lodzi. W 2005 roku dostali się do finału Festiwalu Vena. Zaraz po tym wydarzeniu Fundacja Vena zaproponowała nagranie profesjonalnego materiału w Tonn studio. W maju materiał muzyczny zespołu CHIlli został ukończony, obecnie czeka na dystrybucje i wydawnictwo. Na płycie pojawiły się takie postacie jak: Paulina Przybysz(SIStars), Ania Dąbrowska, Dori Fi. czy Dj S-master. Zespół współpracował również z MIchałem Urbaniakiem.
