Chemda made her first professional appearance in 1995 on well-known reggae artist Dr. Israel's second album. In 1996 she toured as the lead singer and choreographer for the dance group Mighty Dub Katz, appearing on Canada's Much Music. During that same year she was the vocalist of the hit song "Where Did Your Love Go" by Rhythm 544. Between 1997 and 1999 Chemda received airplay on WKTU (under the name Caprice) with "There Goes Your Heart" and sung with famed comedian Jeff Ross in an appearance on Comedy Central.

For the August 2002 release of Conjure One Chemda teamed up with Rhys Fulber (formally of Front Line Assembly) in a songwriting collaboration. Conjure One is on the Nettwerk record label and also features songs by Sinead O'Connor and Poe. As well as singing four of Conjure One's tracks she also co-wrote two of the songs. One song was licensed to ESPN and played on its yearend sports program in early 2002, the other licensed to EA Sports for FIFA 2002. That same track, Redemption, was remixed by Max Graham and is being distributed on several records including Nettwerk records' Plastic Compilation Vol. 5, which also features tracks by Fat Boy Slim and Sarah McLachlan.

Chemda has completed a US/Canadian tour as the solo vocalist for Conjure One, performing in venues such as Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver, BC and Irving Plaza, New York, NY. In early 2005 she recorded vocals for the follow-up album to Conjure One entitled Extraordinary Ways. The album was released in September of 2005 and includes songs by singer/songwriter Poe. Later that same year she also wrote and sang on the album Patterns of War as part of the new dub band Dreadtone International with members Dr. Israel and Lady K. Patterns of War was released in October 2005 on ROIR records.

Finished touring with Dreadtone International and Conjure One Chemda now focuses her time co-hosting The Keith and The Girl show with her boyfriend, Keith. The show is record out of their home in NYC. The couple have been living in sin since 2002 and began their radio show in March 2005. Their no-holds-barred show tackles literally everything as it is not bound by the rules of terrestrial radio. Out of thousands and thousands of separate podcasts, Keith and The Girl immediately became, and remain, one of the most listened to radio shows of all time. You can find Keith and The Girl at www.KeithandTheGirl.com.
