Cheers Elephant

After releasing their second album "Man is Nature" to a sold out crowd at the famous World Café Live Downstairs on January 8th, 2011, the message was clear: people dig Cheers Elephant. But how did we get here?
In a time where overproduction is prevalent and the live show stands crucial, Cheers Elephant dominates with a tight and energetic sound that truly makes you stop and listen. Since their inception in 2007, Cheers Elephant has made fantastic strides beginning with the release of their eponymous first album, "Cheers Elephant" which received praises from fans and critics alike. WXPN Philadelphia's premier radio personality puts it eloquently:
"Their indie-psychedelia is a twisted yet innocent, intricate yet trouble-free collection of fantasia. That's exactly it you see- their sound is raw and rootsy yet far out with psychedelic flavor. A chew it up, spit it out, rock and roll vibe that's been dosed with LSD. Any who, Cheers Elephant went on to conquer the Philadelphia music scene playing packed live shows at almost every major venue in town as often that made sense-Cheers Elephant played over 40 shows in 2010 alone. Their successful East Coast and Midwest tours confirmed Cheers Elephant's mission of spreading raunchy yet playful rock and roll to eager listeners.
2011 has already proven to be a big year for Cheers Elephant. As mentioned earlier, their album release at World Café Live was a smashing success because it was an event, not just a show. Visualizations, dancers, and Photos from Space made it something special, not to mention the stellar performance. Opening for UK's "The Go! Team" at the famous TLA in Philadelphia, conquering New York, getting featured in films, tv and commercials, and touring like fiends are all in the plans. So, why not take a swig of Cheers Elephant?
