Cheap Dates

The Cheap Dates were originally founded by Dave Taylor (Electric Shots, Tea) & James Reid (The Cold Shoulder, Memil, 7 Zark 7). Original members also included Dave Rothon on pedal steel and Sophie Lechner.
After various mutations the band went down to two members: James & Sophie, where Sophie took on the vocals and James played guitar. It was in this form the band were courted by major labels from the industry. However, disillusioned by it all the band played their final gig at Glastonbury on the Park Stage in 2007(courtesy of Emily Eavis). Nothing was ever released.
