Following the release of "Dynamite" the drum seat was vacated by John and Gary Gendron picked up the sticks becoming a motorbike for the next two CD's "Ham Radio" and "Skunk on the Loose" w/ additional drumming by Ken Schopf. In 2004 John rejoined the Band and they released "Well my Heart went Boom!" a lively CD of Motorbike performances from WMBR, 88.1 fm in Boston.

Charlie and his band the Motorbikes have toured the Country, played countless club and radio shows and received glowing reviews in publications from Q magazine to the New York Times. A BIG P.S. This is a very delayed notice to those that might care about such things. Jim "Kentucky" "Link" Faris has taken his wonderful self and his beautiful Sparkly Bass and his even more Sparkly Family and moved to the green pastures of old Virginia. We'll miss the Big Lug. But lucky for us circling the departing Jim was Bill "The Vulture" Hansen who comes to us by way of fine bands like Pooka Stew and the Grandsons of the Pioneers. He brings boyish charm and a truckload of enthusiasm to our little combo. Come on out and cheer him on. He's goodVan Johnson good.
