Chase Black was born & raised in the Bronx, NY. Since Chase's early years he alway's had a love & passion for music, especially rap music. With influence's such as Jay-z, Nas, & 2Pac just to name a few. At the age of 9, Chase started writting his own lyrics, at such a young age Chase had already experience street life in his stompin' grounds of Secor Projects. But for Chase there was two passions for him playing Basketball or becoming a Rapper. But do to perosnal issues his grades in high school started to fail and he didn't meet the requirements to achieve his basketball dream. From that moment on he knew there was only one to go and he kept on writing his lyrics. As Chase got older his lyrics got wiser and deeper and everything that he jotted down was real, from the heart and true experiences. With all this weight and confidence behind him now at the age of 22 Chase say's the streets are not ready for we has to bring. Signed with indie record label Jes Records Ent. Chase has since recorded some fire tracks. Anything from Club Bangers, Street Anthems, to Straight Street. Chase spends most of his day's and night recording and he keeps hitt'em with the hot continuous flow. Chase say's "My lyrics are my life, If I spit it, I lived it!" Representing the BX to the fullest, the whole NYC, & the whole Hip-Hop movement.
