Charlie Rauh

Brooklyn based composer/guitarist Charlie Rauh has been awarded grants from Meet The Composer, The Klaustrid Foundation, The Untitled Artist Group, The Fractured Atlas Group, and the Herndon Arts Council in support of his work. He served as composer in Residence at Skriduklaustur in East Iceland for September 2010 in coordination with choreographer Megan Harrold of Inimois Dance Company, whom he has worked with since 2007. His original works have been performed internationally at Performatica in Puebla Mexico, Nema Forum in Reykjavik Iceland, Lincoln Center in NYC, The Ailey Citigroup Theater In NYC, and many more. among those Rauh continues to work with are Mossa Bildner (Henry Threadgill), Ken Coomer (Wilco), Sam Kulik (Anthony Braxton), Al Weatherhead (Sparklehorse) and NYC choreographer K.J.Holmes.
