Charlie Brown

Growing up in South London, Charlie first started writing songs and teaching himself to sing in his bedroom to the soundtrack of the Motown greats. His favorite childhood music acts, Stevie Wonder & BoyzIIMen, along with more recent artists such as Ryan Tedder, Brandy & John Legend have influenced Charlie and encouraged him to develop his own unique vocal style. This, combined with his love of classic songwriting, along with his ability to blow up the stage, is what sets Charlie apart from the pack, and injects his solo material with so much style and swagger!



Determined from a young age to pursue a career in music, Charlie began writing, singing and performing wherever and whenever he could. It was at a radio talent show that Charlie was first discovered by a staff member at Simon Fullers publishing company, '19 Songs'. It was soon after this that Charlie signed his first publishing deal with Simon Fuller, which allowed him the opportunity to meet and work with many talented and amazing producers in London, Sweden, Denmark, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Since then, Charlie has penned songs with various writers and artists including Jay Sean, The Script, and UK rapper Wiley.
It was on one of these writing trips in Los Angeles that Charlie met multi-platinum selling, Grammy nominated producer/songwriter Wayne Rodrigues. The two instantly hit it off and developed an amazing writing chemistry! Since then, Charlie has based himself in Los Angeles and got to work writing and recording an album of original songs with Wayne. The sound they have created together captures the soulful energy of Charlie's vocals, and sits them perfectly on top of cutting edge, urban influenced pop beats!
Now back on British soil, Charlie is gearing up to launch his solo career as well as writing & recording with many exciting artists including AlphaBeat, Roll Deep, Bashy, Wiley and Lady Chann.
