Champ & Tenn

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, the duo of Champ (born Ronnie Foster Jr.) and Tenn (born Charles Munford) met as freshmen at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Both started as members of the local rap group The Memphis Commission. After The Memphis Commission began to create a local buzz with the single “Stop Hatin”, Champ and Tenn decided to depart the group and become a duo. It is then when they formed MUNSTER ENT.



Since leaving the group, Champ and Tenn has been creating a buzz of there own in the streets and over the web. They have accumulated over 5 million song plays on Myspace, been featured on a number of mixtapes (including their own mixtape “MUNSTER ENT Presents Freshmen Orientation”), have had songs played in a number of clubs throughout the country, and have gained thousands of fans and followers.



Champ and Tenn’s music is a combination of the raw Southern sound mixed with the lyricism of Northern artists. These two educated young men take pride in the content of their music, which shows through the feedback they receive from listeners across the country. Champ and Tenn feel that it is important to be different. What makes them different is that they aren’t afraid to be different.
