AS SALAMU ALAYKOUM,
My Name is Chaldun I am from Germany. My name doesn't sound like that, I know. It is arabic and means: "The one who knows eternity", till now I dont't know anything about that. But what i am aware of is my believe in god. Since I was born I have been a Muslim.
I started with the whole music stuff in 2000. In 2002 I founded a Ska Band called Kingswell (www. kingswell. de. vu). In which I played the guitar, did the songwriting and the vocals. We played some gigs in our closer area and made film music for the documentary "IRGENDWO DAZWISCHEN"(visit www. irgendwodazwischen. de) which was featured in 40 different cinemas throughout Germany and is also often aired on tv. We also went first place at a newcomers band contest in Donaueschingen
But in the same way life goes on,music also goes on. Kingswell ended in 2005. I began to write songs on my own. Just me and my guitar. I always listened to a lot of Hip Hop and Reggae. With the consciousness of Reggae and the way to transport a message with Hip Hop I have found a way to express and transport a message from soul to soul and from heart to heart to my listeners. Allhamdul illah.
I think it is very important, especially in Hip Hop and Reggae, that the lyrics are well chosen. Everywhere people don't recognize the superficiality and how it catches one by one. Todays music business is extremely superficial. I hope one day all people get to know this. Be yourself not a music star. Try to be free even if you are overwhelmed by everything. And be with the truthful ones.



In January 2007 my first album "SOMMERTAG" was released. Selling 500 copies, without playing concerts or any promotion, was a success. For the rest of the year I began to play concerts all over Germany which increased the number of sold albums allhamdul illah. Some Radio stations already play my songs. Diffferent Newspapers and Online Magazines wrote articles about the German Reggae Muslim :) allhamdull illah. This Year, Insa allah, my New Albumis going to come. Which features different musicians from all over the World.
