Chad Van Horn

Growing up in a fairly musical family with guitars and a piano in the house, Chad was always surrounded by music. Taking piano lessons with Grandpa by day, and by night falling asleep to the sound of his mom finger-picking away on her nylon-string in the living room, like a live lullaby. In 5th grade he began a five-year affair with the trumpet and big band jazz tunes, and at 15 began to flirt with the acoustic guitar that leaned against the side of the piano. It was an on/off relationship until about 18 when they got serious, and have been going steady ever since.
