The Brazilian singer /songwriter CEUMAR has 4 albums produced in more than 10 years of her independent career in Brazil . With her special voice and guitar she has a gift to tell histories from the heart.



Based in Amsterdam since 2009, Ceumar is now showing her brazilian roots without "cliches" , working in diferent projects and growing in music and life.



Since 2006 Ceumar has been playing with 3 wondefull dutch musicians: MIKE DEL FERRO, piano + Frans van der Hoeven, bass + Olaf Keus, drums. The group performed on many important stages and festivals in The Netherlands, Brazil and Belgium.The cd with them is coming soon, recorded live in the Tropentheather - Amsterdam.You can check some songs here on myspace!



Meu Nome is the fourth and also the most recent solo-production of Ceumar and already considered one of the best contemporary (a subtle mix of Brazilian folk, pop, jazz & samba ) albums from Brazil! Recorded completely live in the FECAP-theatre in the heart of Sao Paulo, Ceumar shows why she is so popular : with only guitar and voice she plays easy songs mixed with a great performance on stage, fresh and friendly .
