Founded by guitarist Chris Petersen, CELLADOR is a melodic metal band originally from Omaha, Nebraska, now based out of Colorado.



CELLADOR was founded with a passion and intent of introducing aggressive, European-influenced, melodic metal to the USA metal scene, which for years has been dominated by hardcore, death, and screaming metal bands. In 2005 CELLADOR released a 4 song EP entitled "Leaving All Behind" and began playing live shows across the Midwest USA. Impressed by their skill, integrity, and musicianship, Metal Blade Records offered the band a contract making them Metal Blade Records' first USA based power metal signings in years.



In 2006 CELLADOR released the critically acclaimed album "Enter Deception" worldwide via Metal Blade Records/Sony RED, and spent the next 2 years touring internationally and promoting the release to various crowds and fans across many genres of metal and rock music.



In late 2008 CELLADOR went into hiatus after a multitude of lineup changes and band instabilities prevented the release of the their highly anticipated album "For All Or Nothing," appropriately titled by Petersen as both album title and mission statement for the band's goals.



After a year and a half of auditions, negotiations, and long distance collaboration, CELLADOR relocated to Colorado to reboot the band from the ground up and return to a organic, grass roots metal band. They are currently seeking energetic and musical individuals to help complete the band again and get back to playing live.
