The year is 1990 and London Posse's latest 12" asks the UK hip-hop buying public the now famous question "How’s Life In London?". Fast-forward a little over 10 years and the latest generation of Mc’s are still answering that same question with their own tales of city life and what hip-hop means to them. Enter Cross Bone T, still in his late teens, but with a wisdom beyond his years that lets him pen heartfelt lyrics with the power to connect with the listener and tap into their own emotional link to the world they live in. Relatively new to the scene, Cross Bone T is fast making his mark as a name to be remembered and has already shared stages with acts such as: Doc Brown, Hard Livin’, Ugly Duckling, Giant Panda, Blade, De La Soul, Rachel Stevens, Hundred Reasons & Roni Size just to name a few. While being a solo artist after many years of being in various groups, he is now also a member of the Lyrical Dragon Clique (LDC), a collective of solo artists who are working together to create more of a buzz within the industry. CBT is now focusing his efforts on making the sort of music that he'd love to hear, as opposed to what others want to hear.

Cross Bone recent background plays a large part in his music direction, having spent his youth developing his passion for both music and athletics. Like many he took a few wrong turns and became involved with in a few street level criminal activities that reached a head when a friend was killed over debts. Realising that he had more to offer to himself and the world he took a look at the life he was living and made the necessary changes and took himself out of those situations, using his time instead to develop the talents hip-hop he'd enjoyed since a young age. Having experienced the harder side of life, and having made the transition himself his music expressed his observations on the world around him, the people, the places, and the situations that take place on our streets every day. That's not to say that he's limited to rapping only about "street life", not by a long way. Cross Bone T is quick to remove any doubts as his rhymes offer an inspiration all of their own, and tackle such topics in an educated and positive way that few artists are able to under the shackles of a major label deal.

Citing Immortal Technique and Jehst as major influences, you'll be unsurprised that Cross Bones music offers a different perspective than many other artists, and whilst every artist is unique in their own right. Cross Bone has place in this art form and industry all of his own - and if doesn't exist already, he'll do his damnest to make it and assure his place in UK hip-hop history. Keep your eyes peeled and get your ears ready!
