It was Kraftwerk that first introduced him to electronic music in 1981, and the allure of the genre has inspired Scotch since. Having spent four formative years working as a DJ and Program Director (under the pseudonym "Mushmouth") of the legendary college radio station WUOG 90.5 FM in Athens, Georgia, he was able to mine ideas from the big budget artists as well as the underground rave scene. And as host of "The Industrial Pipeline" and "The Power of Soul" radio shows, Scotch pulled from various sources - from Meat Beat Manifesto, A Tribe Called Quest, and Ministry to The Chemical Brothers, Public Enemy, Underworld, and Fatboy Slim. Proof positive that he is not just a DJ, he's also a student of the game.
