The new album, Catherine Britt, was recorded towards the end of 2009 with Shane Nicholson and Bill Chambers, and is an un-compromising and heartfelt album born of love, pain, loss and sorrow. It's her most personal, diverse and mature album to date.
Inspired by some of the greats, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Paul Kelly, Patty Griffin, and Ryan Adams, the result was a career defining album which The Sunday Telegraph described as a "Must Hear" album and that lead Brisbane's Courier Mail to say "With a voice like that, she could go anywhere."
Performing since the age of 10, Catherine has recorded 4 albums - Dusty Smiles and Heartbreak Cures, Too Far Gone, Little Wildflower (for which she won the 2009 CMAA Female Artist of the Year award) and the self titled Catherine Britt and has recorded with Elton John, Kasey Chambers & Paul Kelly.
