Recorded at the Living Room (Selmanaires, Black Lips, Mastodon), mixed by the wizzes at Wizkid Sound, and mastered by Rodney Mills (who recorded Free Bird and Hold On, Loosely for god's sake), this is the product of some blood, sweat, hugs, and tears. We are very proud of it, and hope you like it too.

CASSAVETES (that's us) released our first full-length record, Funny Story, on the indie pop/indie rock label Headphone Treats in the spring of 2006. It's available at Criminal Records in Atlanta, CDBaby, Amazon, iTunes, AmieStreet, Emusic, Rhapsody, Last.fm, and the rest of the online thing. Seriously, there are a lot of online stores. You know, in case you just like one song. Really though -- Funny Story is meant to be listened to in one sitting.cover to cover if you will. In fact, you can stream it for free if you like and see for yourself. I know a lot of bands say that but we split a lot of hairs arranging that album all for you! No really it was kinda mostly for us but we knew you'd love it too!
