SPRING UPDATE- 2009

Man, I am terrible at keeping up with the cashcropmusic updates. Here is the word on the street musically and otherwise with the gang

DOSED are slowly coming up with a new batch of tunes for the next CD. The cool thing about these demos are the folks who drop by to help. John Gladwell came from L.A. on X-mas break to play some guitfiddle on LAYIN LOW. DAVID BRYANT came up with a song called LET IT GO. And MV2 dropped in with some chorus vocals on DISSOLVE INTO ANGER.

We are working on putting 10 songs on our myspace page. Expect a couple of moldy oldies and guests!!! Mike took the MV2 footage from the GUS DON MULER show at DAWN AND DANNYS and put out a DVD. Pretty Hilarious. Oh, and SPACE BAR came out!!! what a brutally long album!!!

recorded in 1995 at 1927 floyd ave. in durl's bedroom. buzzov-en had moved in the previous year and it was during THE ALCOHOLOCAUST. features tom, bobby moore, bruce, chris, kyle, james werner, durl, a fifth of seagrams dry gin a 4 track patch corded into a boombox with an analog delay. songs include SHE"S A CRANK-HO, PETERSBURG and EAST COAST. The album ends with everyone but durl and crane passed out and the pedal was on 11.------

DOSED---AIN"T NO JOKE---a bunch of demo recordings made during 2005 @ the trailer in DOOMS, VA. Mike and durl chain smoked and guzzled bud lights, played YARD GOLF and took the SCOOTER up to MILLER"S LAKE for a dip. The songs are a bit depressed for the most part and full of beats that were jacked on a machine. The SHIT AND GET method was used, and by the time the vocal tracks came around they were pretty hammered. 14 songs pared down and amended from more than twice that many.

PITY PARTY- 9 songs pretty disjointed, pretty unfinished, indicative of the state of mind lately.
