Hey hey, we're CALVIN PARTY long-time John Peel favourites we've released four albums, the last of which GODARD'S GIRLFRIEND came out in April 2008 on Liverpool's Probe Plus label following on from 2004's NEVER AS BLACK and previous releases LIES LIES & GOVERNMENT and LIFE & OTHER SEX TRAGEDIES

NORTHERN SONG from NEVER AS BLACK made it into the final John Peel Festive Fifty in 2004, as did LIES LIES & GOVERNMENT a few years before

Last December we released a one-off 5-track EP called 8 DAYS on Eli Records, it's available either on CD or download from the myspace site and we're now just completing the recording of our 5th album, which will be released sometime this Winter once again on the mighty mighty Probe Plus label

We've played a lot of shows over the last year in both the UK and Holland, supporting the Wedding Present, our label-mates Half Man Half Biscuit and The Fall along the way and we've just announced the first few live shows for next year too more soon
